Enforce a CCJ
This service is only for business to business debts (non consumer) - debts regulated under Consumer Credit Act 1974 cannot be accepted.
This can be a very powerful tool. If the debtor has funds or the ability to raise funds to pay you then a Statutory Demand can be a powerful tool in getting your debt to the “top of the pile”.
When the individual or company that owes you money (the ‘debtor’) receives a statutory demand, they have 21 days to either:
- Pay the Debt
- Reach an Agreement to Pay
You can apply to close (‘wind up’) their company if they don’t respond to the statutory demand within 21 days.
